Lab News - Congratulations to Rebekah!

Congratulations, Dr. Rebekah Drezek! She has been elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows.

The membership recognizes her achievements in bionanotechnology and molecular imaging, which have led to techniques for the early detection of breast and ovarian cancers. AIMBE fellows represent the top 2 percent of professionals in the field of medical and biological engineering. Read more in this story here.

A paper he co-authored on modeling NP photothermal bubble scattering was accepted to Nanomedicine.

Also, Ying was cited in an Optics Express paper titled “Optical trapping of coated microspheres.” The paper is an experimental investigation extending some of Ying’s modeling work.
